about

Shall Not Fade warmly welcome Berlin based producer Black Loops into the fold. Known for conjuring up magic from a bubbling melting pot of inspiration - ‘I Know You’ EP is house music at is finest; nodding to Black Loop’s love of funk, soul, disco and 90’s house, and channelling the energy that once pulsed through the underground in NYC, London and beyond.

Title track ‘I Know You’ delivers up the first big dose of feel-good vibes found throughout the EP. Thoughts of Italian dream-house and memories of long heady nights shimmer over a bouncy beat that’s impossible not to groove to. Next up, Funk-filled ‘Badmanthing’ is a retro, wiggly earworm, all robotic vox and swirly synths to take you higher. Hypnotic Plastikhaus is a serious block party jam. Doing what Black Loops does best, woozy, tripped out vocals and Kerri-inspired kicks fire beneath this sun-soaked melody. Rounding out the release, ‘No Fear’ is an effervescent, bouncy banger. One that’s dying for a festival system, this feels like cruising into twilight with Daft Punk.

The release is rounded off with two stunning digital bonus tracks with long time friend and collaborator Ruff Stuff.

‘I Know You’ EP drops 3rd July via Shall Not Fade.
